The company strives for the betterment of its employees that's why they offer free certifications in various fields and schooling that is paid for to help progress the employee. The company also offers great health care packages and up to 30 days vacation time a year. Also included is a 401K program that matches up to 10% that you put into it. 

At Microsoft we fallow the OODA loop which is what helps the company make the tough decisions on important matters. Take for instance a trouble with wheel chair access the company would observe the issue like there is no ramp. Then orient the issue lie how does this impact and what is the cost to install a ramp. From there we decide on the right course of action and since it is federal law to have ramp or elevator access the company then acts. The acts portion is where the solution is put into place and the issue is rectified.
